Lorrie Gutierrez Takes the Reins as The Crossvine’s New Lifestyle Director

Jun 8 2018

Growing a community is a full-time job. Beyond amenities, new construction, and planning the Crossvine’s future, it’s also critical to develop and propose activities that residents can enjoy and that take advantage of our wonderfully open, active green spaces.

This spring, we welcomed Lorrie Gutierrez as our new Lifestyle Director. Lorrie is a graduate of St. Mary's University, where she studied Marketing and gained a depth of experience in culture-building. Prior to joining CCMC (The Crossvine’s HOA management company), she worked in group sales and marketing for Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio. At Six Flags, she organized both large and small events for audiences from VIPs to corporate guests and sponsors. She brings a wealth of event experience and is excited to grow a Lifestyle Program with residents.

With the Lifestyle Program, Lorrie will plan, coordinate, and host a spectrum of events for all ages. Recent community events have included Food Truck Fridays, The Crossvine Wine Club, Kid’s Crafts Saturdays, Easter Eggstravaganza, The Crossvine Running Club, and exercise classes such as MixxedFit, Camp Gladiator, and Fit4Mom. In April, Cousins Maine Lobster paid us a visit. Cousins and their delicious Maine lobster rolls pulled right up to the amenity center where residents were able to gather together and enjoy the New England treats.

“The Crossvine has given people from different corners of the community the opportunity to get together when their paths would have never crossed,” says Gutierrez. “The residents of The Crossvine have met people with similar interests and now can call each other friends. It has been my pleasure to be a part of this amazing journey creating memories, and I look forward to the journey ahead.”

This past month, Lorrie coordinated and hosted a number of events that connected residents on our trails and pocket parks. We encourage all of you to come out and join us for some of our neighborhood events. To grow community programming at The Crossvine, we have found a dedicated team member to lead our community initiatives.

Keep an eye on our new online events calendar for upcoming happenings. We encourage residents to reach out to Lorrie with questions and ideas for events. She will be an active part of the community for years to come.
